Muslin is a lightweight, sheer, breathable and loosely woven fabric made from 100% cotton. It’s smooth in texture, is lightweight and can be easily dyed for fabulous results. Muslin is generally used to add texture to embroideries and is easy to stitch into and at Discount Fabrics, our muslin fabric is available in a plethora of colours and width sizes.
As such, it is commonly used for crafts, quilting, cheesemaking (known as cheesecloth), embroidery, punch needle, sieving, clothing, curtain drapes and other home furnishings.
